How can I book?

We use trusted platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo to ensure security and support for both guests and hosts. Simply click the "Book Now" link at the top of the page to choose your preferred platform.

Are there any restrictions on who can stay?

Yes, minors are only permitted to stay with their parents or legal guardians, and all necessary documentation must be provided before check-in. Additionally, pets are not allowed on the property to ensure the comfort of all guests.

Are you a hotel or a vacation rental?

We are a vacation rental, offering the entire unit for your stay. While we do not provide daily cleaning or typical hotel services, we supply initial essentials, including towels, for your comfort. Additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request.

What are your rental policy?

We strictly adhere to both building regulations and Colombian law, particularly regarding the prevention of illegal activities, including the protection against child sexual exploitation. To ensure compliance, the following rules apply:

  • A signed rental contract is required for all reservations
  • Minors are only permitted to stay with their parents or legal guardians, subject to documentation review.
  • Valid identification must be provided for all guests prior to check-in.
  • Only registered guests are allowed in the unit, and the building issues wristbands for security purposes.

These measures are in place to ensure a safe and legal environment for all our guests.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a full 100% refund for cancellations made 5 days before check-in.

Building and Apartment Rules

What are the building rules?

These rules help ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for everyone.

  • No parties or loud gatherings: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM
  • No smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit and building. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available
  • Pets: No pets are allowed on the property
  • Guest Access: Only registered guests are allowed in the unit. The building provides wristbands for identification.
  • Pool and Common Areas: Follow all posted rules in the pool and common areas, including supervising children at all times.
  • Respect for Neighbors: Please be mindful of other residents and avoid disruptive behavior.

What is the check-in and check-out process?

Check-in is keyless and simple! Our standard check-in time is 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM.

To ensure a smooth check-in, we require that all identification and necessary paperwork, including documents for any minors or children in your party, be submitted beforehand. This allows us to send the information to the building for verification prior to your arrival. Upon arrival, the front desk will confirm the documentation, and only registered guests will be allowed entry.

Wristbands will be provided for building access. If you have a special request for check-in times, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate, if possible.

What amenities are available in the unit?

Our penthouse suite offers a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable, including high-speed Wi-Fi, 2 smart TVs with Netflix and other streaming apps, a fully equipped kitchen, a private jacuzzi, air conditioning, and family-friendly features such as a playard and board games, currently there is no cable box.

What is the guest capacity of the unit?

The suite can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests, making it ideal for families or groups. The sleeping arrangements include:

  • 1 Queen Bed in the main bedroom.
  • 1  Small Sofa Bed for a child in the main bedroom.
  • 1 Queen Sofa Bed in the living room, perfect for 2 adults or older children
  • 1 Playard for a baby, available upon request.

This setup works perfectly for:

  • A family with 3 children and 1 baby, or
  • 1  Small Sofa Bed for a child in the main bedroom.
  • 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 baby.
Is the apartment child-friendly and safe?

We’ve designed the apartment with families in mind, making it as child-friendly as possible. The suite includes a playard for babies and child-friendly amenities, such as board games and a small sofa bed. However, please keep in mind that the apartment is located on the 17th floor, so it's important to always supervise your children and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety. Parents or guardians are responsible for the well-being of their children during the stay.

What is provided in terms of linens and towels?

We provide fresh linens for all beds, along with enough pillows to ensure a comfortable stay. Each guest will receive at least 1 body towel and 1 pool/beach towel. Rest assured, all linens and towels are prepared before your arrival to ensure your comfort.

Is there a laundry service available?

While there is no on-site laundry service available, you can use a local company that offers pick-up and delivery for your convenience. Their contact information and details are provided in the apartment booklet, making it easy to arrange laundry during your stay.

What is included in the kitchen?

The kitchen is fully equipped with a family-sized fridge with freezer, a two-burner electric stove, full sets of plates, glasses, and utensils, along with enough pots and pans for cooking. It’s perfect for preparing breakfast, lunch, or dinner, offering all the essentials of an apartment kitchen for a comfortable stay.

How far is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Simón Bolívar International Airport (Santa Marta Airport), located less than 15 minutes away by car. A taxi to the airport typically costs around $35,000 COP (approximately $10 USD).

What activities are available nearby?

There are plenty of activities just minutes from the Sea & Sierra Suite. Enjoy a relaxing day at Bello Horizonte Beach, just a 2-minute walk away, where you can swim, sunbathe, or take a stroll along the golden sands. For shopping, dining, or grabbing a coffee, Zazué Plaza is only 5 minutes away and offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes.

You’ll also find several top hotels nearby, such as the Hilton and Mercure, both with excellent dining options. Additionally, there are numerous local restaurants in the area where you can savor authentic Colombian and Caribbean cuisine. Whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, shop, or dine, everything is conveniently located close by.

On what building are we located?

Sea & Sierra Suite is located in the Porto Horizonte building, which shares its space with the Porto Horizonte Hotel. The suite is in the same exclusive area as the Hilton, Mercure, and Irotama hotels, offering a prime location close to the beach and top local attractions.

What is the nearest grocery store?

The nearest grocery store is located at Zazué Plaza, just 5 minutes away, offering a variety of options for groceries and essentials. You can also easily order groceries or meals through the Rappi delivery app for added convenience. Additionally, there is a small market just 2 blocks away for quick purchases, and several restaurants are within 2 blocks of the apartment for dining.
